Stem Camp

As i was assigned to shoot stem camp fro the freshmen of texas high, i was worried if i'd get any actual good shots. luckily, after being annoyed by excited freshmen's voices and getting hammered by unforeseen water balloons, i discovered this image. it captured facial expression and detail. my settings were f/2.8 with a shutter speed as 1/4000 and an iso of 100.

Blog

Wow, my last post was over a month ago...
I've only used this as a school assignment for the photography course I'm in, but I think I'm about to start using it to write. sometimes I'll have thoughts that i want to write down or share, but nowhere to put them. I'll still use this as a photo blog (once i get my gear back from Kenzie) but the photos will either be for my deadlines in commercial photography, or go along with my ramblings. so let's see how this goes :)

this is a project for class. i used an aperture of f/16 and a shutter speed of 30 seconds. i used a flash light to light the subjects and used a glitter board for the sparks.

Dress up time!

Kenzie, Kayla and Kaleigh all decided to bring dresses to school to do a photo shoot. I used an off-camera flash triggered by pocketwizards, using an aperture of f/5.0, an ISO of 100, and a shutter speed of 1/100 of a second.

Baseball

last thursday i shot the Varsity baseball games. it was really hard since our stadium lights are crap.
